“It’s not all feeding and cuddling!”
To ensure the boys stay healthy there are a number of regular tasks to perform – some nice, and some not so nice, including faecal egg counting! Daily feeding is just the best, Andy and Ewan are at their most relaxed and enjoy a good brush while they fill up with lunch.
The boys’ horns are around 6 inches long already, after just a year’s growth, with another year to go before they slow down! Male Highland cattle, known as bulls, have thicker horns that curve forward, while females, known as cows, have longer, thinner horns that curve more prominently upwards.
